We are updating the inner packaging
Hello, this is a researcher at Labovarde.
We recently renewed Labovarde's inner packaging!
We previously shared a YouTube video showing the process of our meetings,
touching the samples, and talking with our suppliers.
Today, I'd like to share the behind-the-scenes story in writing as well.
Chapter 1. Where the Idea Began
The core of this packaging renewal was efficiency.
(But with a touch of style, of course...)
The previous Hanji (traditional Korean paper) packaging had a luxurious texture,
but because it was a folded design, the shape wasn't always consistent,
and we received feedback that it took quite a long time to package.
So, we started looking for a more stable and practical approach.
Chapter 2. Research and Meetings
We looked at many paper samples and constantly discussed within the team what kind of "feel" we were aiming for.
At the same time, we looked for a supplier who could bring that exact texture to life.
In the end, we chose a paper that blends well with our existing packaging while subtly revealing the silhouette of the product inside,
and we also held meetings with a supplier capable of eco-friendly production.
Chapter 3. Envelope Design
As you know, the entire vibe of a design can change dramatically with the smallest, most trivial details.
So this time, rather than focusing on prints, we thought more deeply about a shape that feels uniquely "Labovarde."
The curve you see when you open the envelope. Doesn't it look familiar? That's right.
It's the exact same curve from our MagSafe card wallet.
Applying the same curvature to three different envelopes wasn't easy, but it’s a detail we put a lot of effort into.

The inner packaging you are experiencing now was created just like that.
We took our time and examined every single detail to ensure we didn't miss out on either design or practicality.
If you experience any inconvenience while using it, please feel free to let us know anytime.
Thank you for always being with us. 😊
