Left Alone in an Empty Office on Day 1

Hello, this is Labovarde's MD Researcher.


There's a product at Labovarde that, oddly,
 
grows on me the longer I look at it.
 
Maybe it's because we've spent so much time together,

or maybe because of all the memories tied to it.

I think things are like people:

the more memories pile up, the more I come to love them.
 Today, I'd like to share a few short stories

about my favorite product,

the Laptop Stand Case.

 

[The Product That Launched Right After I Joined]

The Laptop Stand Case was a product being prepared for launch
 when I first joined.

Back then, I knew nothing about the product development process,
 and I hadn't even seen a sample in person.

I also remember that almost right after I joined,
the whole team headed out for a shoot,
 and I was left all alone in the office.

I was dumbfounded, and it was kind of funny, too,
but I remember
 using that time to look around at all the products in the office to my heart's content.

The product I knew nothing about
 has now become the one I'm fondest of.

 

[My Must-Have for Shoots, Outings, and Business Trips]

Whenever I head out for a product shoot or have an offsite schedule,
 I always bring the company laptop along.

I don't usually carry a backpack,
 so I rely on the Laptop Stand Case.

No one probably notices, but I carry a different color
 depending on what I'm wearing.

 It's my own little everyday joy.

At first, I used it just to carry my laptop comfortably,

but now I love it for a different reason.
On days when I'm working offsite or heading to a shoot,
 the very fact of working outside the office feels a little exciting.

And when I unfold the Laptop Stand Case,
 my work setup comes together in no time.

Even in the corner of a café,
 it feels like I've got a workspace of my own.

That's why it's the first thing I pack whenever I head out for offsite work.

The Laptop Stand Case received so many restock requests
 and so much love that a reorder went ahead.

We reflected feedback from actual users
 and even improved a few details.

What impressed me most during the improvement process was how our CEO handled it:
 trying other brands' products again and taking apart their materials and components
 one by one before making improvements.

Watching the finish get refined, from the curve details
 to the durability of the leather to the overall form,

I could feel how genuinely dedicated our CEO is to product development.

Maybe that's why, even though the improved version differs by just one small detail,

it's become so much prettier, and I absolutely love it.

[Getting Greedy with the Shoot]


Since the product was being improved during the reorder,
 we ended up doing a fresh product shoot as well.

At first, I went along very casually just to help out with the shoot.
 But the more I watched, the greedier I got.

We had originally planned a simple shoot focused on cutout product shots,
 but thoughts started creeping in:
 "Can people easily picture someone using this product?"
 "Would it look even prettier from another angle?"

I often hear that Labovarde's products look even better in person than in photos,
 and that felt like such a shame, so the urge to collect
 lots of angles and lots of shots just kept rising in me.

I'd been thinking hard about how to show the product from multiple angles across our various channels,

and I'm happy that I love how the shots turned out.

At Labovarde, we also have the Laptop Sleeve,
 which was winning hearts even before the Laptop Stand Case.

Many colors and sizes are sold out, and restock inquiries keep pouring in.

It's a steady seller we've reordered several times,
 and it sells out faster and faster,
 with more and more restock requests, haha.

The one that stays with me most is a customer who waited about five months
 for a restock.

From autumn all the way into winter,
 a customer who waited an entire season:
 I don't think I'll ever forget them.
 I'm a consumer myself, so I know exactly
 how long a wait like that is.

That's why, whenever there's restock news,
 gratitude is always the first thing I feel.

 

And just for those of you reading this,
let me share a little early:
